We each carry our wounds in our own way; there is neither sense nor value in gauging them against those of others.
— Gabor Maté (The Myth of Normal, 2022)

My approach

I am a master level, individually licensed mental health counselor in the state of Vermont. I specialize in the treatment of complex presentations of trauma, which often includes dissociation. I use Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Structural Dissociation Theory (SDT), and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) as my approaches to treatment. I provide both standard sessions, 50-53 minutes, and 90 minute sessions. As my office is not suitable for all people, I offer online options as well.
